Final Report floor cleaning_synopsis”In today’s modern households, there is a noticeable trend towards increased intelligence and automation. Home automation systems are enhancing our daily lives by providing greater convenience and freeing up valuable time for people. As we witness the integration of domestic robots into our homes and daily routines, it’s important to acknowledge that this is still a relatively new and evolving market.
Anticipating significant growth in the near future, the adoption of domestic robots is steadily evolving. While there are already several robotic vacuum cleaners available in the market, only a handful of them offer wet cleaning capabilities. This project seeks to address this gap by designing and implementing a Vacuum Robot that can operate autonomously or be controlled manually via a smartphone application.
The Vacuum Cleaner Robot is designed with the primary goal of simplifying the cleaning process, making it more efficient and effortless compared to traditional manual vacuuming. To achieve this objective, our project utilizes a range of components including the Arduino Mega, Arduino Shield, LDR Sensor, Real-Time Clock, Motor Shield L298N, Ultrasonic Sensor, and IR Sensor.
This innovative Cleaning Robot will be designed with user-friendliness in mind, ensuring that it’s intuitive and easy to operate. Our project aims to create a prototype that not only meets the cleaning needs of households but also aligns with the evolving expectations of today’s smart and automated homes.”
